Tooling & Engineering

Each AMA Tooling staff member has over 25 years of working experience in mold making and engineering. The onsite tool room utilizes a proactive design policy as the foundation for all mold making. Both local and offshore tooling resources are used to manage all plastic injection molds from prototypes to high cavitation. AMA Plastics produces the most complex part geometry and part qualification with state-of-the-art equipment including, the latest CNC high speed mills, EDM machines, wire EDM machines, lathes and grinders.  Onsite automated equipment allows control and optimization of delivery schedules. Complete repair and maintenance staff ensure that all molds at our facility are maintained in optimal running condition.  AMA utilization of IQMS Software allows percise monitoring and scheduling of mold maintenance and mold history.

Process Engineering

The AMA qualification procedure employs a DOE approach to establish a repeatable process, ensuring consistency in production. Certified scientific molding ensures consistent results in production. AMA Plastics prides itself in being a one stop shop from concept through finished product. All tools contracted through AMA include an AMA tool life warranty from both onsite and offshore.
